Our area offers excellent kayaking routes for both beginners and experienced paddlers.
Finland being the country of 60 000 odd lakes (at least), you can choose to explore a smaller lake or a slowly flowing river or try a longer kayaking trip around the islands of Lake Päijänne.
We rent out kayaks for our visitors (daily rent 40 euros/each, including life jackets, all necessary equipment and basic instruction, transport locally 30 euros/return).
If you wish to take a guided paddling tour, we can get you in contact with one of the local paddling guides.
Paddling on Lake Päijänne and going for a refreshing swim on one of its hidden beaches on a quiet, warm summer evening is an experience you will remember for ever!
